Elephant Stool Rings known locally as Tweneboa woodHand carved and painted at a small workshop in a village outside Chiang Mai, where this carving tradition has been passed down through generations of craftspeople. The stool is made from solid Raintree, a fast growing tropical hardwood with a warm grain, finished with natural wax. The seat features an elephant in profile (chang in Thai), carved in relief and picked out with hand painted detail. Sturdy enough to sit on, low enough to use as a side
